Festive Grazing Tables for Christmas Parties
'Tis the season! đ The days leading to Christmas were busy ones for the Splatter team as we fulfilled festive grazing tables for many year-end parties. Most of these feasts were customised to cater to specific preferences of the clients. One of which was to have a grazing spread accompanied by hot food that are commonly enjoyed during Christmas celebrations like whole roasted turkey with cranberry sauce, traditional fruitcake, etc. You ask, we deliverâš
We were thrilled to work with an incredible gourmet partner specialising in wholesome food cooked from scratch without harmful additives and artificial flavourings. The French chef spent almost an entire day preparing this roasted turkey stuffed to the brim with olives, mushrooms, and chestnuts.
It was fragrant, moist, flavourful, and most importantly, a total hit with the party guests! The other heavy dishes served in buffet-style were:
- Homemade ratatouille
- Potato salad with beef bacon
- Braised brussel sprouts
- Aglio olio spaghetti with sundried tomatoes. Â
Another customised menu item for this grazing table was this bûche de noël chocolate yule log cake as a festive replacement to our signature walnut prune cake. We added a few finishing touches for a fairytale-like aesthetic!
For different private home party, as the client loved fruitcakes, we presented this traditional Christmas fruitcake that immediately scented the entire room with its enticing perfume.Â
It was a particularly special cake as this homebaker packs it with so much love and ingredients that it is usually made only for friends and families.
We topped the simple cake with ruby red currants and raspberries for a jewel-like effect and finished with a dusting of icing sugar reminiscent of winter wonderlands.Â
Isn't it perfectly Christmassy? đ

Now, surely it wouldn't be a grazing table by Splatter without our selection of artisanal cheeses! đ Our signature menu usually includes a small cheese wheel cake accompanied by more cheeses on the sides but this time, we were requested to serve less. We dialed down on the quantity but made it up in varieties to give first-timers the explore different types! Â
We set this board with the following selections
đ§Â French soft cheese chaource
đ§Â Spanish hard cheese manchego
đ§Â Dutch smoked gouda cheese
đ§Â French goat cheese chĂšvre
đ§Â French blue cheese fourme d'ambert
đ§Â Italian bocconcini caprese skewers
This medley of mild, medium, and strong European-style cheeses catered to different preferences of the guests so everyone had something to enjoy.Â
Bon appĂ©tit!Â
December has been so much fun with all these celebrations and parties as the year comes to an end.
