COVID-19 MCO Phase 2 & 3: Temporary Halt

This is an update from the previous statement.

As the local COVID-19 infection rate shows little sign of slowing down, the Malaysian government has declared an extension to the Movement Control Order (MCO) that will end on 14 April 2020 and subsequently, a further extension to 29 April 2020. Besides shorter operation hours for essential services (8am-8pm), we see security measures tightened and relevant laws immediately enforced on rule-breakers in these later phases of the MCO. 

Due to increasing road closures and roadblocks for the security of Malaysians, it is with a heavy heart that we must announce this: Splatter will no longer be accepting new party platter orders for delivery throughout the MCO Phase 2 and Phase 3.

This is because we set only the highest standards in quality and freshness of every party platter that leaves our kitchen to your doorsteps, which risk being compromised with unpredictable traffic and long detours in delivery. We've experienced getting stuck in traffic for hours during grocery runs and fear the same when we send out our fruit or cheese platters. 

In the meantime, we'll continue to answer your enquiries and plan customised gift boxes, corporate care packages, door gifts, wedding favours, and grazing tables for future events to be executed after the MCO ends. Hop on here to get in touch!
